Just oiled the dead chain ..
.... ignored my badly worn tires, listened to my rattly cam chain for a few minutes while she warmed , put my winter wets on and hit the very wet , very open and clear roads for just over 400klms ... a bit of drizzle , cold as buggery for the first 3 hrs , then sun , dry roads and no traffic ....!! 
what a lovely day ....
the first official winter run for the old girl ..... ran like a dream , squirmed everywhere in the wet , wobbled like chit every time I touched the dam wet white lines at speed !! ...but all bloody great fun !!!!

Took my 93 to my kids softball game this morning ...... beautiful day and they
are top of their league.
Went home worked on my 1990 ....this is the one I'm taking to Nova Scotia in
2 weeks with CB2CBR & TIMBUCTWO .....is coming as well
So readjusted those multi adjustable bars .....again , drilled and tapped in bar
weights also added a Vista Cruise Throttle Lock as we're going to be clocking
up some miles ......
ooo ooo just picked up a nice Icon Airframe Lid on Ebay for ........wait for it ......

BTW ...I was pulling 120-140klms in sweeping bends in the wet and no way , squirmy or not, did she ever feel unsafe mate ...
These dam 1000F's are so forgiving ...!!! I love the thing to death!! ... and yer , prolly if I don't hit the tire shop soon , it may be till death do we part mate ...lolol

I installed my new Pilot Road 2 rear after picking up a sliver of rock in the old one and being worn to the bars at only 2000 miles. Nice tire, feels like a new bike again.
Next up is the front, I haven't decided whether to stay with the Power up front or go with the Road 2.
