For the water hose, what I've found works well is if you take the old part to an auto parts store and see if they'll let you root around and find a suitable hose that has the right elbow you need, then buy the hose and cut the part you need off of it

The boots could be tricky as that's a pretty rare bike. You might be able to gob it up with flexible urethane repair or sealent or even (shudder) electrical tape. Foil tape might also work. If they're really bad then you might need to get creative by finding something else that's a physical fit but I don't know your model so don't have any easy solutions off the top of my head. The important thing is that they need to seal tightly

Hope that helps

Nice first post there @jmac89, looks like you have a fair bit of work to do and on the 750 no less, as you stated parts will be hard to find!
Welcome to the forum, hopefully there will be some help here with your rare beast when/if you need it.

I am in NZ and have also just taken possession of a 1988 registered 1989 CBR750 Huricane runner but has very loud Tappet noises from No1 and No4 cylinders after reading other blogs they are the worst tappets to get at with normal size hands?? The bike has typical faring stress cracks and a scrape from being dropped on the R/H side a
I am after a replacement L/H Mirror and perhaps the lower faring covers for the exhaust for behind the lower pan. Left and Right side

I also have another project on the go 1987 Honda CH250 witch mechanically is almost working still needs paint and some wiring tidying up.

Back to the Hurricane, i have started taking it apart today frame looks to be all good, can't get it started but the fuel is 10years old, so iv emptied the tank and put new fuel in it but still not starting so i have ordered the very long reach wrench i need for the spark plugs and hopefully will get it started next week!

Also need a new exhaust as to my surprise considering its been in a garage for most of its life it totally rot, unlike the rest of the bike
So hopefully getting a nice stainless system!

Did you find an exhaust system for it, just bought a cbr750f that has not been on the road for at least 20 years, found a header pipe system for mine on we bike. It's a japanese bike parts supplier for older bikes and I know they have another header system available. I paid about 55 usd to supply and ship to the UK at it turned up within 2 weeks in perfect condition.
