Default CBR 1000f-H 1987

Pics of my baby take today- have completed a complete restoration over the last couple of months including paint etc. The decals have been airbrushed on though- no stickers.... Hope you like.

What exactly does "reserve" do?

Normally I will run in "On" mode and then when I run out of gas on that mode I will switch to reserve. That lets me know that I need to get to a gas station soon. Just a safety thing so you don't run all the way out without knowing it.

Great looking bike! You did a fine job.I would like to know how you like the touring windscreen? It looks good on the bike, will it deflect the air better than the stock one? Also how do you like the Nexxus mufflers? Are they loud? I saw some on eBay,but they were quite expensive,I like the looks of them and the fact that you still have two exhaust.

First. I compliment you on a totally awesome restore on your bike! Lokks better then showroom new! I really like the color scheme on your bike. Mine is a flip-flop on your colors (silver mainly, charcoal on top). Was that the original colors for that bike? It seems like all the older 'canes I see are silver like mine. Congrats on an excellent job! Painting all the (what was) decals on. It makes the bike all that much cleaner looking. I'd give you three thumbs up if I had three.

The touring windscreen is very good as I dont have to drop down so low with the visor up when sprinting around the city or up to speeds of over 40mph. The nexus cans are a little throaty but I like the noise that they give off when powering out of a roundabout or bend, no excuse for someone saying that they did'nt know you were there...ha ha...
