Default lost spark?

Drove my cbr today for 2km and engine died without warning. Electrical? Did not start after many attempts. Pushed the bike back to my garage (great exercise) . At the garage it started again but ran on maybe 2 or 3 cylinders. Let the bike relax for a few hours and tried again. It started and worked for 5 minutes and died without warning, this time only idling. Funny...
Can this be a ignition coil problem. Have tried to change plugs, cleaned the carbs. Running out of options. Coil or cdi-box?

Open the fuel cap and see what happens.

SC 24 right ?

Losing vacuum in line to the petcock or ripped petcock diaphragm
- you need full vacumm to the petcock to keep fuel flowing
check vacuum line and petcock & diaphragm

Yep, sc24. All vacum seems to work. A light suck from engine is felt. And the little rubber diagram seems to be ok. Engine seems to get gas. Plugs are wet.
Seems like the spark is lost.
Is it possible for the coil to somehow stop working when it warms up?
Once had a little bit similar problem in my car. Started fine when cold and worked for 10-15km and then just died. Let it stand for maybe 60 min and no problem. Changed the ignition coil and worked fine after that.

Check the tightness of the fixing bolts that hold the coils and the reg/rec. I remember someone having a similar problem and it turned out to be a loose R/R not getting ground.

I've had it happen also. Pop the tank at night and look for jumping or arching. You may be able to hear it with the tank up.

Ok, so here's what has happened.
A friends friend borrowed me a pair of used coils and... it worked.
Engine warms up nicely and pulls really good. No problemo.
Of course the fault could have been between the plugs and the wiring for the coils.... but it works now.
Thanks to everyone!

Sounds like a good time to do the stick coil mod.
