You wont really get any movement on the brake pistons until it comes under pressure ie the caliper nipple closed and the lever pumped, but watch out for low res brake fluid,dont let the res run out, to try it close the nipple after holding down the lever and see then what sort of brake you have, watch the pistons make contact with the pads

You mentioned the washes on the banjo bolt are copper washes so they are not crash washes?

Possibly the second hand ones I got r also no good because I’m doing everything correctly but they r leaking from the bleeder still where it threads in

Good morning buddy yeah they are still Leaking when I get back from a ride I can see small amounts of brake fluid around the Thread Area of the Bleeder nipple and the thin part of the dust cover but the brakes work fine not like before with the old calipers when the lever went all the way back to the throttle should I keep spending time on them or should I just be happy they work and stop here?

Hi Marty, just nip them up a bit, evidently there's not a big leak or you wouldn't have a brake, but keep an eye on it, and the res level

No problems Marty, fluid could have just been residual, but keep a watch on it
