Hi Marty ,it is possible that the PO had stuffed them and to drill out and retap would be safe, could be that he already used PTFE tape to bridge the gap, but that would only be temporary, better idea would be second hand as long as the pistons and seal where intact and ok

Please help are the two Banjo bolts bolts at the front exactly the same as each other?

I’m getting so frustrated got two second hand calipers and I can’t seem to get the holes in the bolts to line up with the holes in the brake line so the fluid can flow through

Hi Marty you don't have to worry about the holes, whats more important is the 2 copper washers (number 25 on the diagram )that sit either side of the metal connection, the bolt is just a conduit to send the fluid into the caliper, this bolt should be really tight to stop leaks

Yeah but don’t the holes in the bolt have to line up with the holes in the brake line or no?

No Marty, a cavity is created and the oil is forced into the caliper

So the banjo bolts are all good so what’s happening now is I’m bleeding the brakes and the Pistons are not going out and touching the pads any help please?

I retracted the Pistons into the caliper when I put the brake pads in the same as you would on a car is that correct? Please help /:
