Yeah, same here. Scooters just... meh. Lol.

 

Scooters around here are a nuisance. None obey the laws. Ride all over the sidewalks and such all around campus. I don't pay them any mind.

 

I usually pull up next to them, and rev my motor to redline, and talk smack, then when the light turns green, I yell "Eat my dust" and leave them behind.

 

and that makes you just as bad as the harley guys, being an *** is being an ***, no matter how you do it.

I answered Other: try not to run over them when they pull something insanely stupid like cut across my lane less than a foot in front of me to hop in the bike lane and skip thru traffic.

 

I got a wave from a scooter today. He was all geared up, so I obliged.

 

I had some guy on a scooter stare me down today. It was funny as hell. He made eye contact the whole time while passing me and he had this super pizzed off look on his face....LOL..
(maybe pizzed because he rides a scooter?)

Regardless of why.....they're getting bolder, people. It's time for action.

 

Around here, there are actually people who ride with pride. One of the last apartments I lived at (before I had my bike), there was a group who would work on their scooters together and try to wheelie them in the parking lot. I think the best I ever saw was 4" off the ground.:lol:

 

Trout, there's apparently a scooter club here in Philly.



Seen two of their members on Silverwings a couple times. They even have leather club vests

 

This is what my wife and I say to folks that thinks they are too cool to ride a scoot.
