when passing a scooter
Okay, I have to talk about the chick in my MSF course when I first got my motorcycle license. She rode to class on a Vespa. She actually told everyone in the class about how when she rode it the first time she couldn't stop so she ran into a bush (I'm really not joking!). Every maneuverability exercise ended up with the whole class lined up behind her because she was so terrified even at parking lot speeds. Somehow they actually passed her so she could get licensed.
I do wave to all everyone on two wheels. Even old dudes wearing shorts and sandals in my small town. I usually don't get a wave back, especially from the townies, but maybe giving them a wave makes them think a little or at least makes them feel better. My mom owns a Suzuki Burgman 400 and that really is more like a motorcycle. Remember that none of us would be riding Honda sportbikes if it weren't for 50cc Honda's selling like they did in the beginning

Never made fun of a kid with training wheels on his bike, why would I make fun of people riding scooters? Everyone starts somewhere, to blow them of is kindof a elitist ***** thing to do. If thats the way we act how are we any better than the Harley guys that won't wave at us?

I do not wave at scooters , but having read this thread and the one about the wave and the finger , I think I'm going to start. I don't want to be on the same level as the Harley riders
