Well when I first started riding I was a helmet only guy. After being in the military and being required to have the min. I will never go back. I do not make that much but you cannot put a price on your own safety.

 

If price is really the reason someone doesnt get n-e gear what-so-ever, then they need to ask around, as some of the senior members earlier said "ask for advice". There are dozens of websites where we can buy cheaper gear thats also made for urclimate without spending all ur savings. . . I can relate to someone earlier saying that a $300 jacket is ridiculous and its true, but would u rather wear a $75 jacket and have a better chance or spend weeks at home for road rash...?
