Removing Decals??

Default Removing Decals??

Does anybody have any suggestions/tips on removing decals. Im painting my bike and am having some trouble removing mine. Thanks

I heard if you drive fast enough, you might be able to have them peel off

dude blow dryer or heat gun is crucial warm up the decal and they come of like butta ..also i found goo gone to be quite handy and a razor blade to lift up those stuborn decals but yeah should be fairly easy i removed all the decals on my tribal rr doin this method and it came out great ..GL

Use a hairdryer to warm them up and peel them from a corner with either a credit card or a fingernail. Do not use a razor as it will probalby scratch the clear coat. GooGone or Goof-Off will take and remaining residue off for you. Make sure you clean it up well afterward.

Just get your bike in for a service at Frasers motorcycles in Broadmeadow, Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
And let one of their dip**** apprentices wash it down after they have finished the service with a high pressure water gun, will remove your decals no problem.

Great info, I think I'll try pacemakers way, sounds the easiest. LOL I'll give it a try tonight.
