Default Removing decals

So I was looking at my bike and decided I want to remove some of these ugly decals on my bike. I have an 06 600rr and I want to get rid of the warning decal on my tank and swingarm and maybe the honda wings on the tank. Well I noticed the warning decals dont just peel off. Is there any certain method I should use to cleanly get rid of them?

use a blow dryer to heat them up...then peel them off slowly....after that grab your favorite de-gunker (e.g. Goo-Gone)...apply liberally, wipe off remaining glue...

if you check out my diary thread, i describe the process a little more in depth....not hard, but time consuming to do it well...

+1, FFingers to the rescue!

Keep away from the razors and sharp objects. Goo-gone does the job, it's a little oily so a clean towel and a little glass cleaner after the job's done will keep it shiny and clean.

+10000000000000000000000000000000

I just did this on Saturday i had to use a hair dryer to apply my CF goodies since it was 45 outside..

So i went to Wally World and got one for $9.99 ( im a dude whos not into dudes, so i didnt have one handy )

it worked great, just give em 25 seconds of full heat with the hair dryer and start to peel, keep the heat on them untill your hands start to burn.. lol..

i had no problems whatsoever..

i didnt mess with it.. they wouldnt stick and it was all info thats in the manual.

and it did make a pretty drastic difference.

now im just waiting for a couple of really hard rains, and the street sweepers to get out before i can really hit some twisties..

i have to take everything so slow because the roads are covered in so much ****, salt, dust, sand, blah blah sucks.. i dont even know if i have touched the outer 1/5th of my tire ....

cmon rain..
