Hi Gunny, +1 ON THE BERETTA-to my way of thinking the 45 Colt is one of the best settlers of an argument around, due to the heavyweight slug and low velocity (around 900FPS at a guess) I've seen an escaped convict take 7 x9mm rounds, including one in the head, and still fight prison warders attempting to restrain him ! High velocity doesn't always mean better stopping power, as you know well ! I have a 12 gauge pump Smith & Wesson with 00 buckshot for home defence, a 38 special derringer double barrel with snakeshot when on the bike, and a 38 special with hydro-shock loads for any other anxious moments........
I'd love a 10milly, but licences are required here, and I'm lucky to have these.....
I still believe however, that the best weapon is one you have been trained to shoot, and can use without fear of recoil. A Colt .22 Woodsman in the right hands is as deadly a weapon as you'll find, IN THE RIGHT HANDS.

Okay I found this one we have another one where everybody was posting pictures of their weapons. And this one really went all over the place about ammunition and weapons, but has a hell of a lot of good information. If we can get shocktroop motivated and a few other notable individuals andthere were acouple of guys into reloading heavily around here. At one time, and with the price of ammunition as you said fuze it would be nice to hear what the actual savings benefits are. OF Course I shoot a hell of a lot for free LOL

AR platform... I haven't had time to check to see if there's a civilian version of the HK 416 but this bastard works full of water it works, full of sand. It works with a blistering hot barrel, flawlessly hell it works when you don't want to. Itis the number one thing for the sandbox. As far as I'm concerned it's in the top three
1 HEK 416
2 Blackhawk Cutaway Ballistic
3 a pair of bates boots

I have never seen anything like that. Completely full of sand and started sending bullets down the range. Broke the gun down and pulled out the bolt and it wasn't even warm. Im blown away that is insane engineering in a rifle. Im going to search after dinner tonight to see if a civilian model is available with that reliability.

It may be a work tool, but I sure wish I could bring it home in this photo I had just put about 250 rounds through it. It is unreal
