most health clubs dont clean or cycle their water frequently enough so youre basically asking to get hep-c or pink eye by getting in them...

[/blockquote]
From my gf who used to work forthe County Health Department in infectious diseases in TX. She's an Epidemiologist. Her quote:

[blockquote]
"YOU CANNOT GET HEP C THAT WAY!!! Hep A maybe, but not Hep C. Dumbass. Hep C is bloodborne. Hep A is Fecal-Oral route. Hep C comes from contaminated blood...like re-using needles in drug use, etc. Hep A can come from swallowing contaminated water. Hep C is also sexually transmitted, althought not as frequently as Hep B."[/blockquote]

So, I guess that means swim at your hearts content.

they come in groups of about 25 -3 or 4 adults with bottles of shampoo-and "wash" their kids in the pool
[/blockquote]
All I have to say is...Ewwww.

Oh and she tells me that "Dumbass" was only being facetious. She really doesn't mean it.
[/blockquote]

I confronted this little ****BAG earlier. Over one of his offhanded comments ONLY to learn that he is a ****ING fraud. The post in which I am referring to is gone would like to thank whomever took care of that whole mess someone PM me and told me he was a post-pimp. I must admit I had never heard that term before and didn't know what it meant. all those offhanded comments in an effort just to drive up his post count is ridiculous
BTW
He did respond to my PM message. If he's willing to post what he sent back to me I will be happy to post what I sent him

no...it's just teh w0rs3...because worst is when you go on atkins and then drink beer...muahhhahahha...

havoc...you can tell them that you're training to be super heavy weight, but you're just trying to make weight first and then you'll start training after you know you make weight. otherwise what's the point if you can't even make weight to fight right?

I receive a fairly good workout in the course of a day while on active duty but I also in conjunction with that I work a 3/2split 4 set rep to failure did not combine this with a cardio workout. I think I get enough of that all day long. If you're unfamiliar with 3/2 split. You basically divide your body into 3 separate groups and work each section of the body. One day at a time at the end of the third day. You have achieved an entire body workout. You repeat the process, and then take a rest day for the whole body. This allows each muscle group to have at least two days of rest before you get back to it and the whole body one day off. There are several good books on this and if you are at a standstill on building muscle and haven't tried it. Give it a shot. H^ll the govenator even covers it in his book. The encyclopedia to modern-day bodybuilding he is one of the few that really did it old school just keep piling on the weight until you failand that is what rep to failure is, of course. It's four sets, starting off light and working heavy and changing your routine every two weeks or so to incorporate a new exercise. That works the same set of muscles for that day I haven't heard anyone mention this but men. You've got to stretch in warm up first. You're not being a p#ssy you're just preventing a possible injury. So don't skip it. That's just my advice for what it's worth
Of coarse, I'm laid up at the moment and can't do anything. It's driving me crazy

^^ sounds interesting...im going to have to try that...ive never read/researched/talked to anyone about optimal work out schedules...i was just blessed with pretty decent genes, and it doesnt take long for me to put muscle on...but at the same time, i lose it all just as fast...
