I'm bumping this today and I'll do it one more time next week just to see if anybody else is interested...

Here's the rules I just PM'd to the people who PM'd me expressing interest...

1) You must smoke at least a half a pack or a chew a half can/pouch a day to qualify
2) YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB
3) This is a cold turkey quit, so no nicotine replacement such as the patch or gum. Doing this is no different than going from cigarettes to dip...you are still getting your fix, and the goal here is to break the addiction, not find new sources
4) If you slip up even once, return to the thread linked at the top and confess
5) The winner is the last person to remain nicotine free, and they may do what they please with their winnings
6) If multiple people remain clean after 6 months, the money will be split amongst those people
7) The quit date is November 3rd
8) The cost is $20/person

I am down, I actually made a deal with myself when I bought my bike. I agreed to quit drinking and smoking. I partied hard saturday and got it all out of my system so I fully intend to be done smoking for good, I hope I can get in on this even if I start before the 3rd.

Edit: I am also all for donating the winnings, I just want to competition to keep me on the straight and narrow. I never lose!

I do not have the scratch today, but I will figure something out. I guarentee I will put money in the pot. This is gonna suck ! I am smoking like a chimney, in anticipation of quitting in a few days. I am definitely in, though.

If you think about smoking, just flick yourself in one of your *****. You will either quit thinking about smoking, cheat(none of us would) or have really sore *****. It saves lives

Everybody is talking, but nobody is paying.....Just payup by the quit date, and you'll be officially in, unless you let me know ahead of time that you will pay within a reasonable amount of time. I'll post the official entrants on Nov 2 on this thread.
