I feel like I plateaued for the longest time. I had my bench at 225 for 6-7 reps before spring break. I didn't lift during break because I worked every day and didn't have access to a gym. When I came back, it took me almost a month to be able to get 225 back! I'm still not able to rep it 6-7 times, its really frustrating. I need to find a gym asap when I get home.

Then again, I'm dumb for spending so much time at the gym and never really researching it. I've taken my friends advice. He works at a legitimate gym, the owner is a wealth of knowledge, my friend is #5 in the country for throwing javelin (apparently) and only getting better.

Default Fotions clubhouse gym

I am the owner we are a small serious lifters gym; but all are welcome! You can find it on face book my wife takes care of that page.
It had been a dream and plan since college some 20 years ago.Two years ago I made it so. I call it my obsession and construction is my profession as it pays the bills. Now I will not pay dues and I always have a great place to train and I get to control the music! Ihave been a competitor in natural bodybuilding . If your not making gains your not pushing your comfort zone and not getting enough nutrition or sleep. These 3 ingredinents are key !
1.train
2.eat more GOOD calories in than out
3.sleep enough to recuperate (grow or get stronger)

[quote=__Z__;1044282]haha true but it is easier to build muscle out of fat, than trying to build muscle with no fat

Z,

you don't build muscle from fat man. You should be happy you don't gain fat easily. When a lot of people go on a bulk, myself included fat gain is a byproduct of excess calories. So a cut cycle is in order. You on the other hand don't have that problem. Sounds to me if you aren't getting the size gains you need you should be eating more clean calories. Eat big, lift big, and sleep alot. You should be happy you can stay lean through bulking.
