Default Hitting shift peg down to upshift?

I heard that you can do this to a bike and make it 1 up and 5 down. Can anyone give me more info on it and if there is a conversion needed then where to buy the kit?

Some models you can take the piece off the spline and turn it approx 180 deg and you got GP shifting. The 1000RR will not work like that and you gotta buy a rear set in order to get GP shifting (reverse pattern)

yes and yes. it's pretty easy to just take it off turn it upside down.. ect..

if it catches when you do this you'll need to cut some of the plastic maby 1 inch off the bottom but it's really easy to do or you could spend money and buy the kit.

No ... it's a current '600 Modifications' project. Take pics and write it up
