Hi
It is for 30 years. Runs sweet too. When I find someone suitable will get it looked over.
Bought it sight unseen and not disappointed.
Don't seem to be able to add much at the moment. Says my account might not be activated yet.
As soon as I know how will put some pics up.

I am in Wynyard, and you need a few posts before you can upload pics, site does this to stop non members selling junk, I think.
I used to get to Townsville a bit when I lived in Mt Isa, not much in the way of good twisty roads where you are now.

You are probably right about Townsville, however I have had a trip to Atherton Tablelands in a car and think that would be a good place to cruise. Will check that out in winter. Bit hot this time of the year.
The east coast of Tassie was my goto place for a decent ride.The last bike I had in Tassie was a Red over Black '87 CBR1000. This is probably why I gravitated to the Hurricane.
It was bought over from the states some years back but when the owner transferred back he decided on leaving it in Aus.
I was a Loss Assessor in Tassie and used to travel the state.
Would have gone to Wynyard a few times. My default evening stopover was the Lighthouse in Ulverstone.

Just joined saying hello.
Hello all, my name is Shawn. Currently reside in Maryland (USA). I have an 87 1000f that ive had for a little more than a year. im doing my best to restore her. With even E-Bay parts getting limited and exspensive i know it will be a task but, i think it will be more than worth it. Pics will be uploaded soon. Which thread should they go in? Im new to the forum thing.

Welcome to the forum, parts do still show up now and again on ebay, you just have to keep checking.
There is also a section for parts wanted called Wanted / Swap where you could try to find that elusive bit.
There is also a thread in the Hurricane section called Rides, good place to put pics of your ride, it probably will not let you post any pics until you get a few posts under your belt.
