No it was a clock - but was all rusty and wasn't even connected up. I didn't like the hole it would leave if I removed it and there were also three small switched which did nothing ....- so I got a second hand panel off ebay - its not quite the right shade of red but ....

Welcome to the forum Edward, there are a few mods that can breath a bit of new life into your classic, upgrade to stick coils for one.

All the help you could ever need, just ask.

Yep! Stick coils, K&N air filter and bigger jets will make it run better on todays fuel.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Julie from Kent UK

We have quite a few members in the UK

I assume as you posted in the CBR1000F section that is what you ride? Post a picture of your ride if you want. We love pictures

So ask any questions you need and you'll find the guys jumping over themselves to answer!

Cheers, SB

My first bike was a 125 Honda Elsinore.

But now I have grown up and got an actual motorbike.

Mind you; our receptionist at work; her husband has one of those very early, 1970's steel tank SL 125s' parked up in his garage (alongside his Mustang).

For some reason I want to own that thing, I seem to recall that they were very good at wheelies . But of course, that would be totally irresponsibile and not something that an older member of this forum would promote.
