i first started up yy cbr 1000 2007 no problem the batt was a lil weak i pull it out of garage cut it off then i go to crank it 5 mins later and battery is weaker so i jump start it then i go ride everytime i cut it off it gets worse acts like it wants to cut off while coming home then i get the battery tested and it say it has 1 volt so i charge it all night and i take it to advance they say the batt is good so i put it back in and the bike starts right up i was thinking battery or the regulator anyone got any ideas thanks

 

test your charging voltage and check the r/r connector. sounds like the r/r is bad.

yeah definitely sounds like your r/r i've had the same problem a time or two its more than likely the problem although as new as your bike is you may want to look into why or what it is that is causing you r/r to go bad(stator,short in wiring harness,etc)

 

i ordered a r/r idk if thats it i hope its not the stator

 

& how old is the Batt ?

 

had the batt checked its good now im worried if its the stator

 

if you're worried about it, replace it also. having a new r/r and stator wouldn't hurt.
