i was just sayin "unspent exhaust gasses" bcuz thats what the guy before me said got in the airbox The recirculated air makes sense but would that not hurt the overall performance a little bit even if it is a itty bit.

Instead of blocking the two holes in the airbox, does anybody see a reason why I shouldn't be able to take the un-needed hose and connect it to the 2 holes?

you could but silicone is cheap

Nope. It's the same intake air that would have gone in on the first try. Just the second time around. It might be a degree or two warmer but not enough to notice a difference. As stated above, dyno tunes have proven it had no effect.

I used heater hose caps, three in total. Did not noticed any gains or improvements, but replacing sparks plugs is now easier lol

I didn't even look at the diagram but just want to mention that EGR doesn't work at WOT. Is this system active during all operating conditions?
