When I installed a new CCTL today, I followed the instructions from:

my question is, when I installed it I pulled the pin out from the back of the CCTL and in the instructions it said you should hear it "snap" into place, I don't think mine did.. but it might've just been really hard to hear? Anyways, I put everything back together and go for a test ride, sure enough, the buzzing is gone @ 6krpm.. yay, so I'm kinda being paranoid now.. how do I know the CCTL is actually working??
