F4i Top Speed

I've been telling people what my speedo indicated. 167. And I leave the 10% speedo error part out of the conversation.
10% error is the MAXIMUM variance in speedo error possible. So for some or even most riders, it's less than that.
Next time i'll have my iphones GPS app running so I can clock actual speed, then post result to get everyone fired up again!

And for all of us that has a -1/+2 gear change, our bikes will do good to break 150

i just sit here and read all the post, and these mods and senior members are clearly more educated in there knowledege of bikes and there capabilities, i just see so many bikes haulin *** , 160 seems so slow, a friend of mine has hit almost 200 on my zx10, on a track, and my f4i gets to such a high rate of speed very quickly, at my weight, high 140's, at only 10,000 an the tach, it just seems plausible that speeds in excess of 160 are far more accesable, again, just my brain working overtime here guy's

I do between 120-140 on daily bases on my way to work. I am not exactly sure how fast it gets up there, but it's definately less than 10 seconds. In 6th, I've never been able to put it over 12K rpm. Though, to be fair, around 140 my internal governor kicks in and my mind starts flashing pictures of my son in front of my eyes... Love the little bugger...
