Last night i was haulin' down I95 as usual around 11pm and a state trooper flew by me, hit the emergency u-turn and took off going northbound. Seconds later 2 more troopers go by all heading NB while im going SB. So now in my head im thinking "no cops for miles, and no traffic in front as far as i could see" so lets tuck, and rolllll.....

167mph at 13k rpm and not a smidge further, stock gearing. It sat at 166 for a sec then eventually hit 167. Just thought i'd share because it got me pumped. Any others have some high mph stories? If anyones is gonna cry how it's "stupid to do on public roads, wah wah wah" just save it.

 

Wow you were really moving. I had mine up to 128 one night a few weeks ago. Was racing my friend he was on a katana 750 and he got beat. I didnt down shift or anything just rolled into it hard and then the next thing I know I was doing 128 and freaked out. Lol. I thing I was barely taching 8500 when I let off. It scared me how fast I got there. Lol.

 

Got mine up to 131 once and don't think it would have gone too much past that cause it seemed to take forever to get there and was screaming at the top of its lungs. I don't know what RPM I was at cause I was holding on for dear life. I got a 15 tooth up front. I had my brothers R6 up to 141 and could have kept going but thought well 141 is fast enough.

 

highest i've had mine was right around 140mph and holy crap does it get there alot quicker then you would expect. lol

 

now deduct 10% and you will have what you were really going



And it was still stupid :P

 

Mines got a speedohealer on it so I think the 131 was pretty accurate. But your dead on with it being stupid!

 

I had mine up to 160 mph one time. Scared the s**t out of me how fast it got there. I took one look at the speedo and let off. Don't know if I will ever do it again.

 

I hit light speed once. But when I slowed down I realized everybody had aged more than me. I thought that was unfair so I don't do that anymore.

I hit 165-167 a couple times. It would never redline though even with wot.
