Stock gearing and I've hit 14k so that means I did an honest 165mph. The speedo said something in the 170 range.

^170?

And I did it on an iffy road, but when I hit 164, it started jumping between like 162, 166, 163, that's how it was climbing. So once I saw 166 flash, and I wasn't accelerating as far as I could tell, I backed off and called it maxed. What actual speed, books say 165.

170 MAYBE if you were on a dyno, and trying to max it for some reason?

I seriously doubt it. A 1k will just barely break 170mph, so its damn near improbable a 600, and a stock 600 at that can do it.

164-165mph tops!!!

Hit 150mph and it was still moving fast. Ran out of road since a turn was coming. Felt pretty good only thing I get at that speed is a slight shake in the handle bars.

A stock F4i should be able to do 154-156mph by the books and testing.
Which would make sense if you account for 9% error, your speedo would show about 167-168mph.

But still, 155 is too fast for public roads. If you wreck, you're gonna poke your eye out!
And if you get caught... some dude named bubba is gonna poke your other eye out.
Either way, there's a good chance of getting your eye poked out. That's all I'm sayin'.

gettin your eye poked out would suck too bro, im 330 plus, 6'4, i ride a stock 06 f4i, its my boo boo, ive run 148(at my size)and was doin it way to quick, had only 10k on the tac, so obviously its fast as effin hell, and the adrenaline was pumpin, screw 10% error, speedometer says so, i believe it, the mods on here are mean to, freakin harsh bro, my 2 cents...

^Yeah, no thanks. lol. I've hung off at 100, and was tweaking a little when I straightened back up. Like had the shakes.

But the mods aren't mean, we're just being honest. :P

And kilgore, 155 is too fast on a public road. I did mine on a stretch that could be "monitored. There's no intersections, and any oncoming traffic is visible for the entire stretch. Plus I was out with some friends, and they were up ahead giving me the OK. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna be as "safe" as I can.

Chanson, do you ever lift you but off the seat when you're riding like that? and just support yourself with your legs? Just from personal experience, the air flows better around your body, and pushes your back end down a little more.
