Default Exhaust Leak

I have a Two Brothers slip on and there is a gap between the where the slip on and the mid pipe meets. Its a small little gap but I can feel some exhaust leaking out and sometimes moisture spits out. I've tried every possible way of adjusting the slip-on so there is no gap but no luck. Should i be concerned of this or is this normal with all slip-ons?

there shouldn't be any gap or leaks. it is not normal.
are you saying that themid pipe from the slip ondiameter is much bigger than the end of the header?
did they provide a clamp with it? if so, crank that sucker down.
if there is still a gap, try using high temp RTV or send it back.

You should try cranking down the clamp like Tahoe said. That should do it if the diameter isn't a huge difference.

+++1 on the RTV HIGH TEMP SILI sealant. I had that issue with my Micron slip on. THe stock pipe has a gasket that slides over the end of the Header ( the Connectiing point beneath the bike) AFtermarket Slip on pipes Wont fit with the stock Gasket on the header end. JUST put a Bead of HIGH TEMP RTV around the the header the inside of the slip on end that slides over the stock header/ Put it back together, Torque it down , You should be Golden. I Did this and was Golden.

The connection between the slip on to the mid pipe is a little loose. I guess I can just put some high temp sealant there.
