COLD COLD day...
#11
Hey bro, I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. Warm day out, cold tires. What I learned is, I now put my bike up on stands so the tires don't touch the ground. The rubber absorbs the cold ground so its like riding on ice. If you can keep your tires off the concrete it will help you out. When you take off, don't don a burn out, you could wipe your bike out doing that with cold tires too. Just ride slow and don't rip the throttle til you get riding for about 15 minutes. I ride with Michellin 2CT's, they are a dual compound tire and warm up faster. Good luck riding in the cold.

^^ I do the same. i actually cleared out my mud room down stairs and pull the bike inside now since it's starting to get cold. Even so, when i leave in the morning and I'm in a hurry I force myself to roll in first through my entire neighborhood and most of the way to the freeway. Glad you were not hurt and gl fixing it.
