My truck has been in the shop since last thursday. Funny noise and was leaking transmission fluid. Figured they were connected. Now a week later they get around to looking at my truck. Transmission leak was nothing a gasket around the drain plug. The sound on the other hand is coming from the rear end. Pinion gear is coming apart! Nice $1500 dollar suprise. To top it off it's between 20-30 degress here in the morning for my 6 mile commute. I know thats not far, but it still sucks. So tell me Whats the coldest you have road in.

 

30 degrees (sitting still)...45 mile commute..

Q: Isn't it a little cold to ride a motorcycle?
A: Not if you dress in enough layers.
Q: Damn, must be cold riding out there.
A: Nope. It's a beautiful day.

It was only 40 today. Overcast, but no rain/snow. I rode. Took my time and let the tires do their thing.

 

I ride until I can't feel my face...not sure what temp that is but "cold" is a good numb-er (got the pun?)

Heated gear rocks! Alls I have is Gerbing's gloves and over the last 4 years I've managed 12 month riding for the most part.....black ice can be a real bitch.

 

Well come tomorrow it'll be about 31 or so degrees for my lowest. It was 31 here last night, 34 when I left for work this morning. But I whimped out and drove the cage today, hahah. But tomorrow I'm gonna put on the thermals and leathers and have at it... we'll see how it goes!

 

I musta got asked that quite a bit today too.

 

Gonna be in the low 30's high 20's tomorrow .Guess ill decide in the morning what ill drive..Today was the first time ive driven my cage in two months..

I despise my cage. Filthy, stinky pile of crap makes me angry whenever I open the door. **** on you, cage.

 

LOL..I love my cage ,just hate the traffic i sit in when i drive it..On the bike however i can take the HOV lane ,IT RULES!!!!!!!!!

 

I have been given a Dodge 2500 Big Horn for the last two yearsfor my sales job that I can use 24/7(picture taken last winter):



...however, my company got bought out by a new one and I may have to ride my bike full time now. If so...(see picture) I am F_CKED and will have to ride in potentially cold situations. So far, I have ridden in about fifty to sixty degree weather...ohhhh ****!
