battery keeps going dead
a thing with battery tenders.. if your battery needs replacing, it will commonly show up as fully charged or a green light as with mine. the instructions on your tender should say that this does just mean fully charged but that the battery needs replacement. having to charge the battery every day means 1) need a new battery or 2) need a new R/R..
BUT.. if its the R/R.. if you keep charging that battery up, it will need replacement soon too

are you actually having to charge the battery everyday? because if you say you have a new battery like i do.. i went a week without realizing my R/R was bad. thats when my electricity finally cut out on me..
put your voltmeter on it, tape it to your tank, and ride until it does it again. watch your voltage. that way you will know whats going on when it acts up.
are your cable ends clean and tight?

And not just the cable ends at the battery terminals. A common problem with charging and some other electricial issues is a loose or corroded ground wire where it connects to the frame.
