Anyone here 5'6 or shorter on a 929 with stock ride height? I'm just curioushow other height challenged riders like myself..lol.. feel on their 929 w/ stock ride height. Are you guys comfortable on your 929? I just purchased a 929 and came off of a F3 which has a slightly lower ride height than the 929, but I was ok on that bike. I really don't want to lower the 929 because it willlimit it's handling capabilities, but it would be great to have both feet on the ground..lol Look forward to your responses.

 

im 5'9, and i tip toe at a dead stop... ive thought of lowering mine, just to makes things easier, but i think im gonna give it a shot at stock as to not limit the handling.....good luck at 5'6 though, let me know how it goes for ya!

 

I'm 5'5 and ride mine just fine. At lights I just have to "one foot it." But I'd rather do than than sacrifice the performance of the bike in the corners because I want both feet on the ground. Once you get used to it you'll never notice the difference.

 

to be honest most of us dont take our bikes to their horizontal limits in turns anyways, so lowering it wont reall affect most of us anyways.

if your not dragging a knee then it wont really matter.

 

Try being 6'2". At least you guys only have problems at stops.

 

i'm 5'9" but dropped my 929 1.5" anyway. my wife loves it . now she can ride it, she's 5'0"
