What is this sensor for, and were is it located ? , if anyone can help me I will apreciate that. thanks

 

It is part of the fuel injection system and tells the ECM what the cam position is for firing either the injectors or coils it works in conjunction with the crank pulse generator. It basically tells the ECM when to ground the injectors/coils. It is located on the left side of the cylinder head and has a two wire connector pluged into it.
