Ordered decals 2 and a half weeks ago....starting to think they arent coming....

Got them from this site

A lot of these places look like they are an American site but are located in china or Hong Kong, and shipping from there can take up to a month sometimes.

I believe that is the same place I ordered some decals from. Took forever and a day...but they made it.

Yes, they were really nice decals. I was getting worried too, then they finally showed up.

Default Gas Cap

The powder coat guy could not coat the gas cap assembly. It has rubber seals, and also is assembled in a way where it cannot come apart.

So heres what I did with it

Trying to decide if I should polish the 7 bolts for that or black them out....

Can see why he couldn''t do anything with it but youve made a great job of it !

Think if it were me I'd go for polished ally bolts

You the man with the polishing mop bro !

When you powder coat it you have to cure it at 400 degrees. He couldnt get the rubber gasket off and it would have melted during curing. Also, due to the thickness of the coating he would have need to disassemble it, and it goes together with a pin that cannot be removed. Its a pin through the base and cap pieces. It goes in one side flush, and there is no hole on the other side to drive it back out. So I painted it. lol
