You have to take your time in the sanding before the polish. Use a heavy grit paper, then work you way all the way up to 2000 grit, making sure you have sanded down past any scratches, dimples or blemishes, and then polish them. If you get down to 2000 grit and use it well, the polish is the fastest step. Sanding is the majority of it.

Rear sprocket became a big ordeal. The rear wheel is aftermarket, so the sprocket for the 99 doesnt fit it. Had to track down the wheel maker, and get a sprocket number, then got in touch with Sprocket Specialists to cut it. Was supposed to be here last monday, no sign of it.

Decals were ordered a month ago, and no sign of them.

Paint was supposed to be done last week. Got a look at it today. The bodywork is done, and some of it is primed. Lots of things holding me back, but I guess it is winter and theres nothing I could do with a finished bike right now. I guess it forces me to take my time on everything else.

smooth is fast and fast is smooth, no rush man.. when you rush you make mistakes..

Just let me know what size you are looking at and i can get yours printed when i do mine.

I just got out of the hospital for internal bleeding last night. I wont be working in the shop till next week.

my father in law ordered me a carb sync tool about two weeks before christmas.. still hasnt made it to the us.... some things take time, just be patient and it will all come together. i dont recommend going and buying new decals or other parts just wait it out so you dont buy new ones and the first ones show up.

and paint is huge.. id rather the man painting my fairings.. (if i had any) took his time. when people look at your bike the first thing that sticks out is your paint be glad its being done correctly and not rushed.. rushing can mean mistakes and major ones at times witch could result in having to have them re-done, costing you more time

have a beer, have a smoke, or grab a cup if juice and watch some animal planet..
if you need to talk im here and if you would like pm me ill get you my number and we can bs during stressful times lol
