hows it goin? couldn't answer that question but I just bought a 06 600 RR and I am having the exact same problems, just got the first oil change and it looks real dirty, and is not sounding right at higher RPMs. This is my first bike though so I don't really have any knowledge if its a problem or not. I did ride a friends R6 yesterday, and acceleration and comfortability was hands down better than mine.

i had mine for 4 months, and I can say that so far down the line it definitely sounds and performs different than earlier.. so give it time and break it in at high!!!

Fret... how much does that RRK cost. I've seen a few riders in need of one.

How are you comparing this feeling of slowness? Are you comparing times vs. distance, how fast you reach 60mph?? Or you just "feel like you're going slower"?

I rode my buddies 750 gixxer and noticed and huge difference in how it "feels". Took me a minute and I realized on the gixxer, the riding position had me sitting more like the F4's... damn near straight up. Position yourself on your RR so you’re sitting straight up and see what it feels like.

i've had my 06 rr orange/tribal about 3 months and it feels as strong as it did the day i drove it out of the showroom. though i can tell i'm getting used to its speeds and wish i had gone with a 1000rr.

I have a simple solution. Rent a Harley for a day then jump on your rr immediately after. You'll notice a huge increase in power.
