Its easy but not plug and play.

ok.... so I started to gathering some info on this one:

[1. I need the F4i clocks
2. I need F4i thermostat (complete with sensor) and a new gasket for the thermostat]

You need a 98 900rr temp sensor. It screws right into the old place.

[Now as you can all see I have done some reserch on this wiring have one question mark there... 20km/h on F4,whats that correspond on F4i?. I gues that I

dont have to use Fuel injection indicator at all couse I have carbs. whats the story with that side stand on F4i? (G/W) just wire it to the side stand

separately? the rest of wiring is preaty straight forward... ]

You just ground the 20km/h wire from the F4. FI wire has no purpose. The side stand just goes to the sensor wires. Yes it is basically str8 forward but look at where the wires are going instead of the color. The colors ARE NOT exactly the same.

so i just want to follow up about this conversion. is the digital gauge still working well? also what all information does the digital part give? i see speed and time on some other pics, anything else? i really want one that will show which gear I am in as well. is it possible to get any other kind of aftermarket dash to show this as well?
also i see a comment about the fuel gauge not working after the conversion. is that still the case or were you able to fix it?
