Now what I did was drill a hole in the 2 hose clamps.

Completely unscrewed the clamps and screw them to the Gauge. Then just put the clamp back together going around the lil thing and tighten it up. Voila all done !!!

This just to solve the mounting problem. Wiring it isn't a problem simply follow the schematic

is it a issus when you rev to redline, because there is a difference in redline between the f4 and f4i, do you just have to shift early?

Was this very hard to do?
How long did it take you to swap the guages?

I am interested in doing the guage swap, but i really don't want to get a new whole front end from the f4i.

How bad was the wiring from the f4i to the f4 wires?

No it wasnt hard to do. I dont know how long it took but I'm sure it wasnt over an hour.

I didnt wanna do the F4i swap either so I "made it work".

The wiring was easy. People say the colors just match up but some of the colors are slightly off. I just use the F4 and the F4i schematics. That made it so easy. Instead of trying to match up similar colors I matched up what the wires was for and said FV<k matching the colors. It was all pretty easy !!!!!!
