Default Clocks

For information - I recently wanted to exchange my MPH speedo for a KPH one, and was sent a complete set of 93 gauges, which I was sure would fit in my 90 console - WRONG !![:@]
I knew the console wouldn't fit, as the shape differs from 90 to 93, but the speedo is different, too, and has a completely different mounting to the 90 model, and the connection for the speedo is different too, one is a 90 degree connection, the other 45 degrees, and the rear casing won't allow the swap. I'll send pics if anyone wants them.
So, I'm still looking for an 89-92 speedo in Kilo's per hour as the main measurement, and have a set of 93 clocks complete, in Kilo's per hour, some broken tabs but nothing that can't be plastic welded, that are looking for a new home......

OK. To cut a long story short, stuck in traffic in the middle of the city. No chance of lane splitting. Sunny day but cool. Winter here. Temp was up where the fan should cut in. At that point I felt the heat as if the fan had cut in. All seemed normal. An Indian man walked across the road & pointed down for me to look. My coolant had blown out the overflow bottle & left a nice trail across the road. I pulled up checked quickly that it wasn't a hose etc & by then was able to sneak past the traffic & ride home. Lane split every intersection & got there as quickly as possible. I had just enough coolant to cool the bike on the run but not stationary.
I haven't taken the bike for a ride yet but hopefully today to see if there is any damage.
Cause. Fan had small stones fouling it so It couldn't turn & the switch is fried. Still, I don't need clocks but I do miss a clock on the bike.

Cross fingers, Blue - let's hope it's just a blown hose or something - they're tough bikes - you may get away with it.

I thought this thread was about clocks??? Anyway while I'm here the old girl seems OK. Just boiled really bad & blew the coolant out of the overflow. Thank goodness for the oil cooler. I think that is the only thing that saved her. Thanks for the concern.
I'll let you get back to your clocks now. Did I mention that I don't need any but miss having a clock?
