My CBR f2 project/1000rr conversion: official
Yeah, I can see them now, and just as I noted on the 1000RR, it definitely envelopes more of the tire, especially when lowered... yours will probably be similar - nothing to worry about.
Thanks well hopefully it will. I'll drill out the brackets this weekend and pull the bottom back a little, it should change the angle like the 1krr. I noticed the mids are slanted the opposite way I have mine. Thanks jeff!
Well the windscreen came in today guys. Definitely gave the bike a new look, and I think it just needs the small adjustment of pushing everything a inch back from the bottom of the fairing stay. I'm in love with the new look, cant wait till I can buy those lowers and see how it will look.

Well hello...

Well hello...
look good man. The windscreen changed the look. Looks more complete to me. As far as moving it back, maybe just back to where the bottom corner of the fairing is slightly behind the fork. doesnt look like it needs much. Good work
I know I haven't updated the thread anymore because I've been busy fixing my wife's car and doing somethings to my apt. With the good news at work of being a supervisor by the end of the month I will be able to put in 16hrs of overtime per week, meaning more $$$ so I can finish the bike soon. I will keep you guys updated as soon I start making progress again.
Alright well its been almost 1 month since I updated my conversion. I've been busy with work and life and couldnt even work on my bike due to rain, for like 4 days and I could go on.
Well good news is, I got the front intake vent covers and the bolts. I also slapped on my right lower fairing, and it totally changed the look of it. Although now you can definitely see the small adjustments I have to make to the stay. Pulling it back and more from the bottom so that the nose goes down. Well here are the pictures as they speak for themselves. Let me know your opinions guys.
Also on another note, I think I am gonna try the 06 600rr side tank fairings to see if I can cover up mine, they seem to work good, I will see if my cousin lends me one and try to fit it. I tried some 06 kawi 636 and they were too off.

Yuppers, that's exactly the angle I was talking about before, which I figured might be the outcome when everything was mounted, like we talked about, but if you get that fairing mount slotted, and "drawn in" at the bottom, I'm betting you can get this sorted simply enough!
Anyway, it's coming along, and I'm anxious to see how you get that subframe exposure dealt with.

As soon as I put it on I noticed the angle right away. The 1000rr has the line inclined towards the front, and mine is totally the opposite way.
I cant settle with it looking like this so I will definitely make some new brackets asap since it looks like the back is too low because of the fairings.
On the subframe part, I think I will not find some side fairings thay will cover it all up, but as long as it covers the battery box and coolant & brake reservoir then thats fine, I dont think I'll be able to hide the bottom subframe tube though, it is just too low.
