I think she looks good in red, why dont you just buy a right side fairing to finish her up, paint it red, add some decals to the bike and she will be good to go for this riding season.

 

I was thinking that too. would probably be cheaper to get a fairing on ebay and have someone paint it. even though its the newest bike ive ever owned and I love it now that its running good lol I realize its not a show piece

 

i neglected to check valve clearances and at 61,000 miles the #3 intake valves were so tight that they broke and dropped; destroyed piston and head and i had to install another motor. ive learned the hard way to check and service valves as needed. thats just my experience.

before i listened to some mechanics say to adjust the valves if the engine started running like crap. now, and from here on out i check mine and adjust as instructed in the factory manual. it wont hurt to check em at least and its easy if you follow the shop manual
