Valve clearance question
Found a guide to measuring valve clearance and reshimming here https://cbrforum.com/forum/stickies-...-guide-101969/
In it it says to measure exhaust or intake valves at different periods depending on the crank position. In my manual it says to measure number one or two or three, etc cylinder when the crank is at a certain position but does not say exhaust or intake. So from my manual at tdc I measure both intake and exhaust for a certain cylinder at the same time, turn the crank 180 degrees and measure the next cylinder, whatever it may be. In the link it will say at tdc measure 1 and 3 intake cylinders. Any thoughts on this?
Now my next question is, I've noticed when measuring- following the links instructions that when I measured one and three cylinders (same crank position) for exhaust, the lobes were at different positions. I feel I'm not getting the correct clearance due to this. Or am I wrong?
