Got to take my bike out for the first time in 2 months..... I love the 954 motor in my bike! Had the worst luck getting there, but it's finally there... should have some dyno numbers in 3 weeks or so

929 frame ,954 motor = a new CBR941.5RR they may have to make a new section just for you.

Is there a thread about your conversion? wanted to see how easily or not it went together.

 

i am curious as to what your motivation was to undertake this project ? was it simply you needed an engine and had this readily available to you or was there a purpose to it ? i understand putting a 900rr motor in a f3 but a 954 into a 929 seems more of a hassle then the outcome would be worth . why not instead build the 929 motor?

please dont take my questions as any type of ridicule i am simply curious as to your mind set on this project.

 

Yeah, so tell us... was the swap out a pain? Did you need to use the wiring harness for the 954? or 929? WHAT parts of the 929 did you get to keep?
