It looks better in the pictures, than when closely examined, but it's good enough for this time around - I am going to add some red stripes, and of course, after that I've got to get the number plates painted on.

Got the bodywork taped and masked off for the red accents yesterday afternoon, and painted in the early evening - here is a teaser shot of how it looks.

I'll get them mounted on the bike again this evening, and get a shot of how it looks on the bike. I'm not sure if I'll get around to the number plates this weekend or not.

Here's the race bodywork mounted again with the new red accents - I put the tank cover that came with the Hong Kong fairing set back on, so I could see how things would look with the tank in black, especially since the silver and more "flourescent" red that are on the tank, don't match the new cherry red color that I painted on.

I found a seat with some damage to the pillion portion, on the very cheap, and chopped it down to use as a lighter weight solo seat.

You're welcome. Question.......how do you find so much time to work on your bike? No wife, no kids, self employed? Just wondering. I'm definitely revealing my age with that "Chico & The Man" phrase. lol.

Simple... I dont' do ANYTHING else!! Not exactly, but I do spend most of my weekends, and time after work each day, working on it little by little - I've gotten quite proficient at gettin' cracking as soon as I get off work, and doing as much as I can before my gal gets home - last night I brought the bike out as soon as I got home, masked up for the front number plate, and had the bike covered and the plate painted on, while I was still in my slacks, dress shoes and polo shirt! (IT job - business casual).
Truthfully, working on, riding, and racing bikes, is all I seem to think about, it's an addiction, as everyone here knows well! I need to win the lottery, and quit my field, so I can do this for a living!
