'93 600 Fighter project
I am using a Harbor freight gun. they cost $15 and i like it better than the low end ($60) HVLP guns i have tried.
okay... sorry for the delay.. i have had a touch of something recently so havent been doing a whole lot of anything.
but... i did get a little done

Speed cone on the adapter...

adapter and collector all welded up...

not much clearance... lol

the wiring was a mess... but thankfully it hadnt been modified much.

here it is in the basic shape..

and all wrapped up.

and... installed on the bike. it is pretty invisible

with the body-work on you cant see it at all.

and... more pictures.

the sprockets are all lined up.

and i had to spin the heat sink around to make the wiring work... but i think it looks cool

and now... the coup de gras
this morning i got it started... i still need to tune the carbs as it shuts off when you touch the throttle or choke... but it is something!

more soon!
however i will help you with what you need... are you looking for a newer ignition?
okayyyyy
so. there hasnt been alot of work going on recently, due to a whole bunch of reasons, however. i do have an update.
I made a restrictor for my exhaust modeled after the one jardine will see you for $40

Mine:

So then i hooked the carbs up to sync them. they were really far off.

but, by the time i was finished, the bike was running pretty well. it idles well and will run with the choke off (major accomplishment for me)

I also did some electrical work. now my turn signals and lights work.

then i decided i needed to put my speedo in, so... i had to compare the wiring diagrams.

and figured out where to hook up the tachometer feed to the coil.... but it isnt working yet =(

and she works! more or less. i have molex connectors in the mail, and i still have to hook up my tachometer and speedo magnets, but the wiring is done.
thanks so much more to comes soon!
