Might not be head-gasket. Do compression-test to confirm. Hopefully it'll be intact.

Would be good to track down what caused white smoke. Look for any external coolant leaks.

No spark, yeah, could be due to unplugged harness wires. Plug everything back in and measure for voltage at coil-connectors with key ON.

I tried doing a compression test but couldn’t get the fitting to connect to the head.I was told it was a 10mm and it wouldn’t hook? Is it a 10mm?

10mm x 1mm - make sure you are using the right thread or you will bugger your head and then things get spendy. Check your plug and meter against a m10x1mm nut to be sure.

if it is the head gasket - do you have the tools and skill to replace it? If not maybe now is the time to involve a mechanic, or buy a Haynes manual.

I just did a compression test.Compression was around 180 around all cylinders. So what is it must likely then?

Headgasket looks OK.

No guessing allowed for diagnosis. Needs testing, measuremens and numbers.
Look for water leaks. Hoses, water-pump shaft, etc

So far I don’t see any leaks.I will be replacing the spark plugs first.Do you have any recommendations what to check for.

Hmmm, after replacing plugs, test them externally to verify they spark. Then put in and start bike.
Very strange...

Maybe random but how low was the gas when it started smoking? Any chance there’s water in your fuel tank? Maybe a good idea to syphon what’s left and look - white smoke with good compression is mysterious, but sucking in water would do that.

Good idea! And water certainly doesn't burn like gas does.

Only thing, water sits on bottom of tank, so would get sucked in 1st.
