Henry is only one vote behind now, for once I actually voted for for the ol girl. Every time I went to vote for a 1000f I would be drawn to another bike for the vote(Yums red rocket rings the bell as being one of those culprits from the past)

Default annoying oil leak

I have a very small oil leak coming from the bottom of my oil pump. I put a new gasket and it still leaks!! i even took it apart thinking that debri may have been the culprit but no luck. Imma try to order another gasket and see if i just received a faulty one.....

next, is to remove bed liner paint someone put on perfectly good plastics...

I installed mine on both of my bikes Boru just straight to the battery. But if your looking for a feed I usually use the headlight wiring. That way you know whatever you've spliced in will be switched off when the bike is off. Cheers.

Really isn't the best place for Q and A but i will tell you this, assuming its a Hurricane, there is no gasket on the oil pump as it is inside the engine itself, maybe you mean the oil pan? Or pipes that run to the oil Radiator? Pm me or ask a question in a new thread so we don't clog this place up.

Good luck

Default First ride of Pre-Spring

Rode my O'gal for the first time since last August. Rode to my brother's place 1 hr away and then into North/East California. A little town of Colfax was supposed to have good coffee so we stopped there and then onto Downieville. We got 2 miles out of town on awesome twisties. My bike would not lean at all!
My front tire was flat!
Whipped out the mini compressor to find the valve stem rubber is torn :-(

Limped back to town.
My brother road back to his place 1 hr away to get his truck.
I'm in a bar drinking a beer with my dog.
Could have been worse.
The bar could have been closed!

Hey Boru, right on! I installed my new Oxford heated grips today. They went on quick, direct power from the battery for now but I plan to wire a relay soon. Took it out real quick and my palms definitely stay warm, I wish my fingers were warmer though.
I also got some new NGK iridiums today so I threw those on; what an improvement! It's a lot smoother on acceleration now. I hope my cold starting woes improve with this too.
