If there's one item on these bikes that require babying it's the goddamn carbs ! ..lol

so I had a set off my 93 for the winter as I was working on them

Well put them on - whaddya know - leaking like a sive ! &$&$*&

They never leaked before I took them out !

Turns out sitting for a few months sans fuel - the orings on the "T" s that feed
fuel to carbs 1/2 & 3/4 had shrunk , cracked and dried out ....^%*%((*

Something to keep in mind if any of you Guys pull your carbs for any length of time

even tried using chain orings - just a smidge to small & stretched thin so they
still leaked

Time to order a dozen or so

LOL Seb - actually it's more to do with the "come and take them" ideal !

Anyways while waiting on orings for these carbs to show up I decided to
rejet and shim them up too......good thing - one of the diaphragms had
a rip in it along one of the ripple/creases - not seen looking at it but easily
discerned holding it up against the garage fluorescent light.

FYI they tend to crack / split in the perpendicular stress points

My 93 all shimmed up----->

So no sooner than I put new fuel feed "T" orings in ( she now runs beautiful I might add,
like a goddamned Cheshire cat smooth) but then I find out the rear valve stem is cracked
---------- (&(*&^)&^)&) 'er - putting me auld Pal Malbo's rims and tires on
her now - once I get the rim paint touched up - Jesus Malbo - did ya have to beat the
BeJaysus out of the rims ?

Anyways hope to have my 93 MOT/ME-Inspection ready for Monday - (DB KIllers installed )
lol.......... MECALM kiss my Iorish------ >

My wheel trim came in the mail today. Was afraid it wouldn't match the ultra bright red of my bike but matched perfectly! Highly reccomended, "face lift unlimited" wheel decal kit. I picked this one because its not a roll, its pre-curved decals.
