At 51600miles I replaced the CC and CCT. Did all the tune up stuff; valve lash, carb sync, and new iridium plugs. Now on to delinking the brakes. 1200 mile test drive coming up.

took her out for our first " sunday ride " today .country back roads ,very little traffic about , floating between 140 and 200 kph . I cant believe a 20 year old bike can feel so well planted and effortless ! now to get ready for the Phillip Island moto GP !

saturday adjusted my throttle cables and also checked my steering stem nut. It was loose and i do recommend everyone check theirs as well. I am also checking my front sprocket tonight because i had it apart and saw some play in it so gotta investigate that.

Checked the tires and went out for some great rides ...... the weather was 100% and
the riding was the proverbial dogs bollocks too .

Have decided that for the next 6 remaining weeks all work on the bikes is on hold in
order to maximize the remaining prime time riding opportunities left for this season.
Plenty o' time for that shyte when the snow starts falling !

^^ Ditto here, Mark. Went out to run some errands today, but then decided to ride for real. Beautiful weather. Like 75F, sunny, and dry. Perfect.
I made a nice mountain loop from here to Gettysburg, PA and back. Took about 2.5hrs... all back roads. It's nice to know pretty much all the back roads within 50miles of me.

I can relate to that .... long hauls with stock bars were for me until recently a complete pain in the wrists too
