I don't think we should be using that bit in Wales this weekend Bugs, but.....he he....... y'never know.
Looking forward to hearing her sing.

Sprock.
Do stick insects buzz? I didn't think they made much noise at all.....maybe a slurping sound every now and again. Now that sounds like me!

there is a good chance im running a bit lean up top, so it is losing a little power. i had plans to adjust my needles at some point to get it to stay a little more rich on the lower end (im only running mid 15s AFR when cruising) so i think that might even out the AFR across the whole RPM range. up top it usually peaks at something around 13.5-14.0 depending upon the weather, which i thought was a pretty good number to be running for as little tuning as i did. only way to find out is playing with it some more.

Here's what I did to my bike today, I picked it up off the garage floor. I was installing a more permanent/temporary power supply for my GPS when I decided to move some bikes around in the garage. I moved the 1kF over near the wall next to the snow-blower to make room. I put the side stand down and checked it. As I leaned the bike over, I may have raised the stand with a shoelace or something. Wham! Down she came on top of me, the snow-blower and the top bag smashed down on either the handle of the snow-blower or garage wall. I ran in the house and got help to lift the bike due to the odd position it was in. I was just about sick as I thought it was all F-up. Not a scratch on it. I got lucky for once in my life.

My permanent/temporary power supply for my GPS was installed and I am a happy man.

Perhaps this is the theme for a new thread Tim.
What has you bike done to you today!

Bloody lucky escape mate.
Remember, don't go to the garage without tying your shoe laces or fastening the straps on your frilly apron.
Jesus, I bet you had a bit of a cold sweat on there for minute or two though. Glad your happy and no damage.

Hang on, am I reading that right. You ran into the house in an odd position?
Was that like something out of the ministry of silly walks except at a faster pace?

Good to hear the bike was okay at least - Like your thinking Henry about the
what has your bike done to you today thread idea - that could open up a whole
new world of interesting possibilities !

Good to hear shes ok mate... had that happen with my almost equally plastic enshrouded GSX-100EF and was royally pissed! No damage either but scares the bejsus out of you doesn't it?

Progress here is organising pickup. Bloody dealer still hasn't called me and I'm keen to get up there, shove notes into his hand and take the bike away. Wonder if they're having second thoughts?

Cheers - boingk

Thumbs up mmm new bits & things

Just got back from 2 days stuck in London and my new flush mount rear indicators have arrived

Henry, you want to hear the new sound from 7K+ with the modded cans and carbs set up on a dyno - what peaceful Welsh valleys?????

Better give her a wash and clean for Friday.

I like the idea of 'what has your CBR done to you' - mine gave me a big smile today after escaping london and going down the A3 through the NEW tunnel
