Tim,
Is there a reason you left the second black and white leg empty and pulled both off the one (if that makes any sense). Also how do you tell positive and negative on the sticks?

Tim,

Before you answer that let me take a stab it , just to make sure I have clear understanding as well.

The second B/W is a common ground/earth to the frame

There is no pos/neg on the coils themselves only in the wiring

^ Yes the black/white is common. Our wiring has Bl/w from the main wiring harness then splits to 2-Bl/w to the coils at the connector under the tank left side. You only need to splice into one of them. Lift the tank and look, three wires in, four out.

pmcg, All the sticks have + and -. You do want the + side heading to the +feed. The looms all have Bl/w and some other color (+). It doesn't matter what that color is or order you put the sticks but I did mine as the color order of the 1000RR.

wooferdog, Should I take a ride out to WA and stick it to you???? Put me up for the night and I'll buy the sticks. (+ all the screech you can muster) LOL

Maybe Sprock would like in on that one. What do you say Sprock? Cross country ride buddy? Free Screech, if it's a go?

In the third photo that I took of the sticks installed, you can see the Bl/w wires on two of the sticks. They are away from the camera, on the connectors.

Easy cheesy imo now I just have to install 3 sets

Going to make them tidy with a four way trailer harness
so they can be easily taken off.

SB your sticks and harness are in the mail

Nice job on the grommets the TBT

^ Just the washers may work but the grommets really stiffen up the sticks and keep them in place.

Yeah I may go with grommets with a larger oring in the grommet groove

Always room to improve eh ?

Oh and a fall trip to WA - makes absolute sense - not sure if the Wooferdog
knows what he'd be letting himself in for tho' lol
