been riding around on a 800 suzuki intruder. just an awful experience. so vibratey.. and just.. squishy. barely any cornering ability. took my girlfriend out for a ride and it barely took both our as&'s up a hill in first hahaha. eventually had to push it home cause it sucked gas quicker then i expected... not a positive experience. maybe on a nicer bike it would've been a more positive experience. definitely would take my 97 900 over a 2013 harley anyday . the riders? there not to bad when you're on a bike similar to theirs. i find on my 900 they're not so nice.

 

Most of the ones here are weekend warriors. A lot don't acknowledge sport bike riders on the road. They are just too cool.

 

I wonder if there is a thread on a Harley forum, "what is it with guys on crotch rockets?" LOL.

 

I actually own both a cbr 600 rr 2007 model and an electra glide harley. I dont feel like im better than anyone i wave at any other biker on the road. And havent really noticed any of what you mentioned in the area that i live. Maybe it has to do with the mindset of the people in your region.

 

And after reading all of your posts im starting to understand who has the problem with who. In response to several posts in this thread no harley owners are not all gay wanna be tough guys we like riding our harleys for the same reason we like riding our sport bikes, for the love of the open road. I really thought when i started reading this post i would see alot of positivity but quickly realised there is a huge age and maturity difference. Honestly im dissapointed in what ive read here.

 

V-Rod is the best Harley that Harley never made. It's was designed by Porsche if not mistaken. Only metric Harley they offer.
