so im a new rider to the street. today it was like 60 degrees so i figured it was a nice day to take my new cbr out for its first ride. i was talking with a friend at work an he told me to watch for the harley guys. well i thought he was kidding an we kinda laughed it off. so when i got home i suited up an headed out. i got down the road like 5 mins an came to a stop sign. waited my turn an while i was waiting this a$$hole pulls up behind me on a harley. he starts reving his motor an stuff at me like wtf. i thought my buddy was kidding about the harley thing. well he was not. i wanted to turn around an tell him hey man u keep reving that bike like that its gonna become a pile of parts in the street. like really wats there deal? are all harley riders like this. dont meen to be a whiner but i figured i could vent on here maybe some of u guys have had similar experiences.

 

In my experience it's because they think their bikes are better than the sport bikes. Seems to me it's been going on for years, harley bikers dont like sport bikers.

 

i guess.. maybe its cuz they know there slow an they r tired of having to carry a wrench and a screw driver everywhere they go. or a follow van.

 

Asshats come in all makes and models. It ain't just harley guys. Yes, there is a rivalry
in some folks minds. So there are some out there that ride hogs, with attitudes.

But don't judge the man by his bike, I've had more harley riders pull over, if I looked
like I was having trouble. I'm talking gnarly old bastards in colors. Stop and ask,
"Hey man, you doing alright?" Or roll me a block on the cars, so I can merge on the
highway.

I ignore the bone-heads and wave to the rest, cause I'm out for the thrill of the wind.
